Academic Foundation & Field Experience

Poojan Kamdar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology from CEPT University, one of India’s premier institutes for architecture and planning. His academic journey combined theoretical rigor with site-based learning.

Selected Academic Highlights:

Research Paper

Surface Temperature & Thermal Lag
An experimental study to assess the thermal performance of various wall construction systems. This research focused on analyzing heat gain, heat transfer, and the concept of thermal lag—the time delay between external temperature changes and internal wall response. Using thermal sensors and hygrometers, the study compared different materials (with a focus on AAC blocks) to evaluate their suitability for energy-efficient construction in varying climatic conditions.

Internship Experience

High-rise: Omkar Altamonte, Mumbai
Worked on-site at a G+60 residential tower, assisting in estimation, planning coordination, and studying high-rise core systems and service integration in vertical construction.

Technical Toolkit

Frequent site visits and exposure to institutional and high-rise projects—including IIM-A campus and PSP precast factories—further enhanced his applied technical skills.

Vision for the Future

Poojan Kamdar’s professional outlook is rooted in constructibility, sustainability, and engineering clarity. At Kautilya Group, he aims to systematize quality through better integration of structure, services, and sustainable practices.

By aligning cutting-edge tools with grounded decision-making, Poojan Kamdar ensures that every Kautilya project not only stands tall—but stands the test of time.
